Crestone Development headquartered in Colorado Springs, owns, develops, leases and manages industrial and commercial properties along the Front Range. Among other projects, Crestone developed the Aviation and Interstate Business Parks, A 161acre master planned development and 25 acre Industrial development, respectively. Retail developments include Star Ranch Plaza, WestWind Marketplace, an Albertson's/Long's Drug Anchored center, Windward Corner, a 30 acre mixed use development that includes Staples, Marriott, Ruby Tuesday, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Panda Express, K.F.C., and others located at Centennial Boulevard and Garden of the Gods Road. Fillmore West, a 14 acre interstate redevelopment, located at Fillmore Street and I-25 that includes a Best Western Plus Hotel, IHOP, Kum & Go, and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. Additionally, many small nationally leased buildings throughout Colorado Springs and Pueblo have been completed over the years.

John A. Gatto is the President of Crestone Development. The corporation's primary focus is the development and marketing of commercial and industrial properties and vacant land. Mr. Gatto has been a Colorado Real Estate Broker since 1978 and has been active in Colorado Real Estate since 1975. He is familiar with every phase of development, from horizontal development of business parks to construction of vertical product.
Prior to forming Crestone Development in 1983, he was one of the top commercial real estate Brokers in the largest brokerage house in Colorado Springs. In his over 46 years of Real Estate experience, he has become acutely aware of the Colorado Springs market and brings great expertise to the selection of commercial and industrial properties.
Mr. Gatto is a Realtor Emeritus with the National Association of Realtors and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He has served in several capacities within the business community, some of which include past President of Sunrise Sertoma Club, Treasurer of the Colorado Springs Symphony Council, past Chairman of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado, past member of the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan YMCA and past President of the El Paso Club. He was one of eight recipients in the country in 1996 to receive the prestigious Gold Leadership Award, the highest National award given to Junior Achievement volunteers.
John relocated to Colorado Springs from St. Petersburg, Florida in 1975 and lives with his wife Stacy, and has three daughters Stephanie, Grace and Marlena.
